I’ve been working on a project about data centers for almost two years now and earlier this week, I went down to Abilene, Texas to photograph the site of what will eventually be the world’s largest data center. The campus is the size of Central Park and is part of OpenAI’s $500 billion dollar Project Stargate that aims to create enough computing power for the rapid growth of AI over the next decade.
I recently passed the Part 107 test and am a “Certificated Remote Pilot” according to the FAA and have been exploring the visual possibilities of using a drone. Below is a short video and some photos I made while there.
